Five Doctor Who Series 8 Scripts Leaked, BBC Asks Fans Not To Spread Spoilers

Five unfinished scripts for the eighth series of Doctor Who have been leaked online after they were sent to the BBC Latin America offices in Miami for translation.

This has been judged by BBC Worldwide as “a bad thing.”

In a statement, the BBC said:

We would like to make a plea to anyone who might have any of this material and spoilers associated with it not to share it with a wider audience so that everyone can enjoy the show as it should be seen when it launches. We know only too well that Doctor Who fans are the best in the world and we thank them for their help with this and their continued loyalty.

So pretty much they’re asking that fans not share the scripts, mostly so that those not wanting the episodes spoiled don’t accidentally run across unwanted details.

Sounds reasonable to me.
