Throwback Thursday: The Fourth Squashing of America

Back when I lived in Eau Claire, we used to occasionally do something stupid called “The Squashing of America.” The premise was simple: we would buy vegetables (including squash) and hand them out to people on Water Street (the local bar crawl)… and film it.

This was the fourth time we did it, and technically there are a couple versions of this footage edited together… but this is the one I did.

It’s exciting.

And mildly amusing. This was shot in October of 2007, and first uploaded January 2008.

Trae Dorn

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty-five years. They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
