‘Agent Carter’ and ‘Agents of SHIELD’ Renewed, Unnamed Spinoff Scrapped

Well, it’s been a tense wait for some of us, but we finally have news about the fates of Agent Carter, Agents of SHIELD and the proposed Agents of SHIELD spinoff series.

The good news for fans is, of course, that Agents of SHIELD has been renewed for a third season. More amazingly though is that Agent Carter has been given a second season, which was far less of a sure thing with its shaky ratings.

The only bad news in the batch is that the proposed Agents of SHIELD spinoff has been scrapped and won’t happen now. It’s not a huge loss though as Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood, who would have starred in the series, will merely remain on Agents of SHIELD proper.
