‘Galaxy Quest’ TV Show Ends Up at Amazon

Last spring there was a lot of buzz about the possibility of a Galaxy Quest TV show. Here at Nerd & Tie, we were a bit skeptical whether or not this was a good idea (as we love the movie so much and worry about its legacy).

Well, it seems like Paramount has found a home for the project, as news has hit that the show is being developed over at Amazon. As Amazon tends to put any pilots it makes online, that means we will definitely find out what the heck this TV series is going to look like.

No word as to what the actual premise is. We don’t know if any of the (very expensive) cast will return, nor do we know if this will be a continuation or a complete reboot. To be honest, we know… well… nothing when you break it down beyond the fact that this is a thing that is happening. It is happening to all of us.

Well, to those of us with Amazon Prime accounts it is at least.
