Mark Hamill’s Trickster Will Return to The Flash

Mark Hamill first played the Trickster on the 90s version of The Flash and (much to our delight) reprised the role in a season one episode of The CW’s new version of the show. Well, it looks like Hamill is returning to the Arrowverse for a second time, and will appear again in the new season of The Flash.

In a tweet (that has since been deleted) Hamill stated he was returning to the show, and posted a photo of himself on set.

Hamill’s performance as The Trickster has been really well received by fans, in no small part because of its similarity to his portrayal of The Joker in the 90s animated Batman series.

…which was, y’know, awesome. No word on when this Trickster appearance will air, but as Hamill was probably not allowed to admit it was happening, it likely won’t be until much later into the season.

The Flash airs on Tuesdays on The CW.
