The First Trailer for AMC’s Adaptation of ‘Preacher’ is Here

People have been trying to adapt Garth Ennis’s comic Preacher for the screen for a while, but it wasn’t until the Seth Rogan (of all people) and Evan Goldberg produced pilot got picked up by AMC last month that there was really any traction. Now, to promote the series, AMC has released the first trailer for the show (and aired it during last night’s Walking Dead).

And, well — it’s a Preacher trailer, and you should watch it.

We don’t have a lot of other commentary for this, as it’s way to early to tell if it’ll be any good or not. I have high hopes though. Preacher will begin airing sometime in mid-2016.

Trae Dorn

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty-five years. They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
