Felicia Day, Baron Vaughn and Hampton Yount Join the New MST3K Cast

Last week we learned that comedian Jonah Ray would be taking over hosting duties on the revived MST3K (which has an ongoing Kickstarter). What we didn’t know was who would be the new “Mad,” or who would take over the voices of the ‘bots.

Well, that all changed today.

In an update to the crowdfunding campaign, Joel Hodgson revealed that the new Mad (named “Kinga Forrester”) would be played by none other than Geek & Sundry creator Felicia Day. He also revealed that Tom Servo and Crow would be played by comics Baron Vaughn and Hampton Yount.

All are solid choices, and we’re all pretty excited about seeing them in the new episodes. Hodgson also let us know that Kinga Forrester will have an evil henchman (just as her predecessors did), but he’s keeping that last bit of casting information to himself right now.

Trae Dorn

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty-five years. They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
