The ‘Orphan Black’ Season 4 Teasers are Moody, Mysterious

Orphan Black‘s ongoing awesomeness should not be understated, and its fourth season promises only to enlarge the overall mystery of the show’s dense mythology. Tatiana Maslany’s ability to give voice to so many different characters simultaneously (while often only acting against herself or a body double) makes you forget how special effects driven the show is.

It just feels natural – which is a pretty amazing feat to consider when how unnatural the process is in actuality gets taken into account.

We’ve recently gotten two teasers for the fourth season (which premieres in April), and while neither really give anything away, both are strangely surreal. The first is a close up of a bionic eye (which most of us believe belongs to a certain previously-pencil stabbed clone), and the second features a new character (likely played by Maslany) running through the woods in a sheep mask.

And… well… it’s just sort of cool.

They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
