Lynda Carter May Guest Star on ‘Supergirl’ Season 2

For many people, Lynda Carter’s 1970s TV series is the definitive version of Wonder Woman. And while we know she won’t appear in the 2017 Wonder Woman film, it doesn’t mean we won’t see her alongside an iconic DC superheroine.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Supergirl Executive Producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti want to bring Lynda Carter to season two of the CBS series. Apparently they wanted to do it during season one, but Carter’s schedule didn’t allow it. While Supergirl technically hasn’t been renewed yet, a second season has pretty much been promised by CBS.

As for the part Carter would play? Berlanti revealed that it would be President of the United States. Considering that dialogue in season one revealed that the in-universe President was a woman, that shouldn’t be that much of a surprise. Personally, I’m excited.

Supergirl airs Monday nights on CBS.
