Meet the Cast of the ‘Doctor Who’ Spinoff ‘Class’

We first heard about the upcoming young adult spinoff of Doctor Who (titled Class) back in October of last year. We didn’t know much about the series beyond the title and writer Patrick Ness’s involvement.

Well, a bit more has come out now.

Earlier today the BBC announced the cast of the series (pictured above). Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Sophie Hopkins, and Vivian Oparah have been cast as a group of students, with Katherine Kelly playing their teacher at Coal Hill School.

They also released a 360 degree video of the cast as well for some reason.

The series, as previously mentioned, is set at Coal Hill School — which has featured in Doctor Who multiple times. The idea is that all of the temporal shenanigans around the building have weakened the walls of space and time around it… and something dark is trying to break through.

Class is expected to come to BBC Three and BBC America later this year.
