‘Orphan Black’ Season 5 Has a Release Date

BBC America’s Orphan Black is probably one of the best shows to air in the last decade of television, due in no small part of lead actress Tatiana Maslany’s performance. A performance which includes almost a dozen separate characters on the show, that finally netted Maslany an Emmy last fall. We learned that the show was being renewed for a fifth and final season way back in June, and fans have been waiting patiently to find out how the clone centric story would resolve.

And now we know when that final season will air.

It’s now been announced that Orphan Black season five will begin airing June 10th at 10pm on BBC America. Like previous seasons, it will run ten episodes in length, and showrunners have promised a satisfying conclusion. While it’ll be sad to see the show end, it’s nice to know that it’s going to go out as a completed story.
