The Science Guy is Back in the Trailer For ‘Bill Nye Saves The World’

Bill Nye has been a pretty influential figure in popularizing science for an entire generation (even if he’s actually an engineer by training), and his kids show Bill Nye the Science Guy is fondly remembered. Well, in a world where the kids who watched that show are now adults and a political climate that wants to demonize science, many believe he’s needed now more than ever.

So, thankfully, he’s got a new show.

Netflix picked up Bill Nye Saves the World a while ago, and we’re now getting closer to its eventual premiere this spring. Because this show falls into the “let’s build anticipation” category of Netflix shows (as opposed to the “let’s drop this on the public and see what happens” shows), we’ve been given a trailer for it.

And you know what? It looks pretty great.

Bill Nye Saves the World season one premieres April 21st on Netflix.
