The New ‘Colossal’ Trailer is Pretty Great

I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that Colossal is probably the most unique kaiju movie to come out of American cinema. In it, Anne Hathaway plays a woman who finds herself (while in the midst of a personal crisis) mentally connected to a giant monster terrorizing a Southeast Asian city. It’s a giant monster comedy, and those don’t come around too often.

We got our first look with a teaser trailer a few weeks ago, but a full length one hit earlier today. Honestly, to say I’m excited for this film is an understatement — it feels original, and you don’t see that too often these days.

Colossal comes out April 7, 2017.

Trae Dorn

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty-five years. They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
