Netflix’s ‘Voltron: Legendary Defender’ Will Run At Least Through Season 6

One of the most surprising hits of the last year is the Dreamworks animatated reboot of Voltron on Netflix. And while Voltron: Legendary Defender season two came out just a month ago, thanks to information that came out of Toy Fair, we now know season three will arrive this fall.

Den of Geek has the news, and not only are we going to get a third season as early as September, but it turns out that Voltron: Legendary Defender has a whopping seventy-eight episode commitment from Netflix. This means we should be getting episodes at least through a sixth season.

Honestly, this is pretty exciting news. Voltron: Legendary Defender has been a fresh take on what a Voltron series could be. While there have been other attempts to create sequels and reboots to the series before, this is the one that got it completely right and has greatly expanded what a Voltron show can be.

And I’m glad we’ll get to keep enjoying it.
