The First Round of Marketing For ‘Orphan Black’ Season 5 is Sufficiently Creepy

The final season of BBC America’s Orphan Black is coming later this year, and like always the marketing team has opted for “let’s make this as weird as possible” as their strategy. They tweeted out a series of videos promoting the new season this weekend, and they are unclear as possible as always.

We start with a pretty standard-ish 15 second promo for the show.

Of course, that’s probably the clearest thing they tweeted. It gets more cryptic from here.

So yeah, if that was unclear to you, you’re not alone. For some reason this sort of thing works on me though, because I’m probably even more excited about the final season than I was before.

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty-five years. They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
