‘The Osiris Child’ Trailer Makes Us Wish it Was Coming Out in the U.S.

The Osiris Child comes out later this month in Australia, and it actually looks pretty solid. The film was directed by Shane Abbess, and stars Kellen Lutz, Temuera Morrison, and Rachel Griffiths. I’ll be the first to admit that while it seems a little paint by numbers, the execution looks pretty solid.

The full title of the film is The Osiris Child: Science Fiction Volume One, which is a bit of a mouthful, and has an alien force invading, a prisoner teaming up with soldier, and that solder is a father trying to find his daughter. I mean, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before — but it’s kind of all of it at once.

We can only hope an American distributor decides to pick this one up.
