Fifth ‘Indiana Jones’ Movie Delayed Until 2020

Well, almost another year has passed, which means it’s time to check in on the progress of the proposed fifth Indiana Jones movie. We first heard rumblings about the movie in the spring of 2015, and last year we were teased with a 2019 release date. Well, this time we have some bad news for you, as it seems like you’re going to have to wait a bit longer.

Earlier today THR’s Borys Kit posted the following to Twitter:

The delay isn’t exactly the most exciting thing to hear, and we really don’t know why it’s happening for sure. Likely the the only reason for the move is to make room for the “Let’s pretend this CGI movie is Live Action” Lion King film which has now snagged the 2019 slot.

I think we’ll survive the wait though.

They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
