Donald Glover is Making a ‘Deadpool’ Animated Series at FXX

The multitalented Donald Glover, along with his brother Stephen Glover, are officially making an animated Deadpool television series for FXX. Donald Glover is, of course, a talented actor, rapper, and writer, and his television series Atlanta has been incredibly well received.

The network has ordered the show straight to series, and will have a ten episode first season. No word yet on voice actors for the show, but it’s still early days for the project. While the show won’t have any continuity ties to the Deadpool film franchise, that’s the tone the network will be aiming for.

The animated Deadpool series is expected to premiere sometime in 2018.

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty-five years. They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
