Thank God, They Finally Canceled ‘Sleepy Hollow’

After four seasons Fox’s Sleepy Hollow is officially coming to an end, and there will be no fifth season for the show. Honestly, at this point, it’s kind of a relief.

We were shocked when the series got a fourth season, as the third season ended with one of the shows two protagonists getting killed out of nowhere. Not only that, but a romantic plot was shoehorned in at the last moment making everything super uncomfortable. A lot of us who were fans of the series had hoped the series would just end at that point.

But it came back.

I honestly tried to stick with it, I really did. Some of the new elements were okay… but I just couldn’t get back into it. Frankly the show was going down hill for a long time before this latest season, with Katrina’s Face-Heel turn in season two being the biggest head scratcher. While the awkward fourth season didn’t make things better, I think most of the show’s fandom can agree that it’s time for all of us to move on.
