So We Totally Missed the ‘Ready Player One’ Trailer… But You Shouldn’t

So we totally forgot to post something about the first trailer for Ready Player One (which came out during San Diego Comic Con), but we’re trying to rectify that right now. Y’know, by just posting it.

The trailer is a bit frenetic, but entertaining. It’s also pretty safe to say all the cultural references from the book will somehow be shifted to Warner Bros properties… but hey, the Iron Giant shows up?

Ready Player One comes out March 30, 2018

Trae Dorn

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty-five years. They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”

At least Warners owns Blade Runner, so that super-important sequence still happens. But Warners doesn’t own Back to the Future (Universal does), but the DeLorean showed up. Maybe they have that in through Amblin? Man, this stuff gets confusing.
