Hulu’s ‘Future Man’ is Like ‘The Last Starfighter’ Meets ‘The Terminator’ Meets… Something?

We now have the first trailer for Hulu’s original science fiction comedy Future Man, and it actually looks really funny. Straight up lampshading its Last Starfighter inspiration, it’s about a janitor recruited via a videogame to help a group of people from the future stop the apocalypse.

But where it isn’t aping The Last Starfighter, it’s a timetravel comedy where characters are forced to argue the merit of killing babies and preventing people from getting laid. And honestly? It looks pretty funny.

Future Man hits Hulu November 14.
