Netflix Gives Us a New Trailer For ‘The Punisher’ Along With a Release Date

Netflix’s newest entry into the MCU is the forthcoming The Punisher series. And while we’ve gotten a couple of trailers, there have been some concerns that the streaming service would delay the show’s release in the wake of one of the largest mass shootings in American history (which did prompt the cancellation of the show’s panel at New York Comic Con).

Well, it looks like Netflix is marching forward, releasing another trailer for the show and finally giving us a solid date for when the first season will be released: November 17th.

Honestly, it’s a Punisher series. As long as this country continues it’s ongoing problems with gun violence, there probably won’t ever be a tasteful time to release a show about a white guy with an arsenal who shoots lots of people. It’s one of the reasons I’ve never been too fond of the character. Based on their track record though, Netflix is capable of putting enough nuance in the series where I’m more than willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I guess we’ll all find out when The Punisher comes out in a month.

This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
