Episode 133 – A (Non-Spooky) Halloween

In the spirit of the spoopy season, on this episode of Nerd & Tie Gen, Nick, and Trae talk about their favorite Halloween-esque movies and shows that aren’t scary.

We also realize that in 2003 Asian musicians really had a thing for Vampires living in China. It’s kind of bizarre.

Before that though, we hit the headlines, where we get our first look at the Arrowverse Batwoman, Venom is doing surprisingly well at the box office, and James Gunn might tackle Suicide Squad 2.

It’s all very exciting.

Trae Dorn

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty years, and is a co-founder of Wisconsin’s longest running Anime convention No Brand Con. Trae also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produces the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask when the hell they have time to actually do anything anymore. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
