A Number of Actors Are Refusing to Appear at Walker Stalker Con, Ticket Sales Suspended

The rough year for Walker Stalkers LLC, the company that runs Walker Stalker Con and FanFest Events, continues as a number of actors are now saying they won’t continue to attend Walker Stalker Con in the future. This comes in the wake of the resignation of CEO John Frazier and the incident at this year’s event involving guest Angel Theory.

Honestly I didn’t expect to be writing this much about the company these last couple of weeks, but here we are.

Things seem to be coming to a head though, as actor Khary Payton posted the following to twitter saying that he, Melissa McBride, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, and Cooper Andrews would no longer be appearing at the con.

Following this post, new Walker Stalkers LLC CEO Michael DeVault announced that all ticket sales for Walker Stalker Con and FanFest Events are being temporarily suspended so they can “plot their path forward.”

There are certainly a lot of challenges that Walker Stalkers LLC is going to face regaining the trust of the convention community. Frankly, they’ve had a rough 2019 overall, and this isn’t going to make their 2020 any easier.

This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
