The team is in the small town of Pleasant Valley, Calisorta to help out an old friend of Bill’s named Oscar. Upon getting there, the team has found themselves in the middle of an arcane tournament called “The Sangreal,” run by the Church of the Sanctuary of Mercy. It’s all very complicated, involves resurrected dead people, and conversations about making out with Teddy Roosevelt just for the story.
