We’re excited to announce the addition of a new show to the Nerd & Tie Podcast Network: Pour Man’s History!

Pour Man’s History is the spiritual successor to the first dozen or so episodes of Cool & Unusual Punishment. Jodie Arnold and Tyler Haas wanted a way to keep telling absurd true stories to one another while drinking whiskey, in a way that wouldn’t compromise their credibility as a proper investigative podcast. So, this show was born to let them keep doing it — just under a new name.

Every episode, your hosts settle in and tell one another a fascinating story from the Midwest – and occasionally beyond – now with the same care and attention to production values they slowly picked up over the course of Luginbilled.

Trae Dorn has been staffing conventions for over twenty-five years. They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
