E3 Boiled Down: Nintendo Conference

Well, we waited, and we were rewarded. Nintendo came out with a plethora of new games and content for existing games mostly for the Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be coming along with a multiplayer Kirby game. From Pokemon, Pokken Tournament DX is coming, along with a Pokemon RPG coming to consoles sometime in the future. The big surprise of the stream was the announcement for Metroid Prime 4, even if we didn’t get any imagery other than the title. A new Yoshi game will be coming, along with Fire Emblem Warriors.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be getting two new DLC packs, The Master Trials and The Champion’s Ballad. Breath of the Wild will also be getting four new Amiibos.

Reggie Fils-Aime mentioned that at E3 this year, Nintendo will be hosting three tournaments during the week including Splatoon 2, Pokken DX, and Arms. Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle was mentioned again and Rocket League will be coming to the Switch. As a finale, Nintendo ended with a sizzle reel and gameplay from Super Mario Odyssey.
