Our First Look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

The DC Carnival of Sadness is starting to look a little less sad.  We finally see what the first theatrical Wonder Woman will look like and…

I’m pretty good with it. I’d prefer brighter colors, but maybe she hasn’t been sent to the US yet. (So she wouldn’t be wearing the colors out of good will yet either.)

The armored boots are very cool. I’m not a huge fan of the skirt, it seems kinda useless, but meh.  Not bad at all though. Hope to see her with the lasso soon.

By the way, is anyone else happy to see the more stylized pictures we’ve been getting from this movie lately? Zack Snyder’s at his best when he’s doing interesting visuals, (I think its his only real talent.) and Man of Steel was almost completely lacking his stylized signature. I’m not convinced Batman v. Superman is gonna be a great, or even good, movie yet, but I’m happy to see, at the very least, it will have some visual style.

Episode 14 – The DC Carnival of Sadness

On this fortnight’s episode we mourn the passing of Justin Carmical, cheer ourselves up with talking about Marvel’s cinematic universe, get a little sadder with DC’s cinematic future, feel okay with Star Wars episode VII getting a new script… and finally feel pretty happy about the new looks for both the Ninja Turtles and the Doctor.

Man, a TMNT/Doctor Who crossover would be great…

Episode 11 – The Best of 2013!

In this fortnight’s episode we talk about Disney’s new television show with horrible implications, Ant Man finally getting a lead actor, Scott Lobdell being a douchecanoe – and our best and worst picks for 2013.

Because it’s just about over.

Because it’s December.

You really should have known that already.

Episode 10 – Routh’s Still Relevant

On this amazing installment, we review Daisho Con, finally talk about the 50th Doctor Who special for realsies, Man of Steel 2’s Wonder Woman gets cast, Singer hints at Mr. Torso Extension himself “Apocalypse” showing up in the X-men films, Aki Con is the worst convention ever to unfunny and depressing degrees, and we answer your emails.

Also, Brandon Routh is totally still relevant and we love him.

And his tiny red shorts.

Episode 6 – A 90s Revelation

The band is back together for our sixth episode where we talk about FOX picking up Gotham (a pre-Batman police procedural), Linda Carter’s Man of Steel 2/Wonder Woman comments, Stephanie Brown’s unbenching by DC, Star Trek Renegades, Star Wars Rebels, (My) Immortal’s season 2 kickstarter, and the newly recovered episodes of Doctor Who.

Also, revelations about Trae in the 90s.

It’s not as exciting as it sounds.

But it’s kind of funny.

Episode 1 – Inaguration-tastic!

In our first episode we talk about the newly announced 12th Doctor, the future of both Marvel and DC on the big screen, podcast sensation “Welcome to Night Vale,” the webseries version of “My Immortal,” and finally just why Pacific Rim is better than everything else.

Because it is.

Trust us on that.
