Two Guys Stole Over $300K in Collectible Cards From Gen Con

There’s a lot of chaos in convention set up. A lot of folks moving merchandise and equipment around, people coming and going, and far too much going on for the average person to keep track of everything. And that’s exactly what things were like Wednesday, August 2nd as Gen Con 2023 was being set up.

And two men took advantage of it.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reported that two currently unidentified men made off with $300K worth of collectible cards using a palette jack. Police have released five photos of the suspects taken from security cameras and are asking for people to reach out to Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477 or the tips link on the IMPD website if they can identify the thieves.
