‘Supergirl’ Gets a Premiere Date

Supergirl is probably one of the most anticipated shows this fall around Nerd & Tie, and can you blame us? I mean, it was created by the same team that brought us Arrow and (more importantly) The Flash, and it looks like the part of the DC Universe that the films have been sorely lacking.

Y’know, like hope.

While it’s true that the pilot leaked online a couple weeks ago, we now finally know when you’ll be able to view the episode legally (and when the episodes that follow it will air). CBS announced on twitter that Supergirl will debut October 26.

That’s a Monday for those not keeping track, and the first episode will air at 8:30pm Eastern after a special airing of The Big Bang Theory (which while I loathe that show, it is a ratings juggernaut). After that week, the show will move to the 8:00pm Eastern/7:00pm Central timeslot.

The fall just can’t come soon enough.

They also wrote and drew the now completed webcomic UnCONventional, and produce the podcasts BS-Free Witchcraft, On This Day With Trae, Stormwood & Associates, The Meatgrinder, and The Nerd & Tie Podcast. This leads many to ask how the heck they have the time to get it all done. Trae says they have the time because they “do it all quite poorly.”
