Brit Morgan Cast as Livewire in ‘Supergirl’
The upcoming CBS Supergirl TV series looks pretty damned good. The writing is solid, and the cast is pretty great. Well, now it seems like we have yet another reason to be excited about it.
Variety is reporting that The Middleman‘s (and I guess True Blood‘s) Brit Morgan has been cast as the villain Livewire.
In the comics, Livewire is a radio shock jock who got her superpowers by literally getting hit by lightning. Whether or not Supergirl will go with this ridiculously stupid origin story, I don’t know — but Brit Morgan is awesome, so who cares?
Supergirl premieres this October.
