‘The Shannara Chronicles’ Gets its First Trailer
Last year we reported that MTV had greenlit a TV series based on Terry Brooks’s Shannara series of novels.
Well, it’s 2015, and we now have the official trailer for the show, entitled The Shannara Chronicles. MTV describes the series (which is based off of The Elfstones of Shannara) in pretty simple terms:
Set thousands of years after the destruction of our civilization, the story follows an Elven Princess, Amberle, a half-human half-elf, Wil, and a human, Eretria, as they embark on a quest to stop a Demon army from destroying the Four Lands.
The Shannara Chronicles premieres in January.
