‘The Space Between Us’ Trailer Brings Us an Interplanetary Love Story

It’s easy to forget that Science Fiction can be used to tell stories that aren’t filled with explosions or about bad guys and good guys. Instead it can sometimes be used to tell smaller, more intimite tales… and The Space Between Us appears to be one of those.

Written by Allan Loeb and directed by Peter Chelsom, The Space Between Us is about a boy secretly born on a Martian colony who falls in love with a girl on Earth. The film stars Asa Butterfield, Britt Robertson, Gary Oldman and Carla Gugino… and it looks really good.

The Space Between Us comes out in US theaters August 19, 2016.
