Lynda Carter Will Return to ‘Supergirl’ in a Kevin Smith Directed Episode

Lynda Carter, best known for starring the classic Wonder Woman television series, appeared earlier this season of Supergirl as the mysterious President Olivia Marsdin. The character’s brief appearance teased a larger backstory that could lead to some serious repercussions, and we’ve all been waiting to know when she’d return.

Well, the good news is that we shouldn’t have to wait too long, because (as Screen Crush reports) Lynda Carter will be back later this season for sure. We know this thanks to an Instagram post by Kevin Smith.

This post is also why we know that her appearance will be in an episode directed by Smith as well, for obvious reasons. We’re not sure when the episode will air, but there’s obviously only so many episodes left in Season 2 at this point.
