The New ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’ Trailer is Here, and the Dude Just Won’t Smile
The second trailer for Luc Besson’s adaptation of the French science fiction comic Valérian and Laureline has now dropped, and, like in the first trailer, Valerian just seems super grumpy to be there. Laureline seems to actually enjoy herself every once and a while, so why can’t Valerian just lighten up for one minute?
Unless he just doesn’t want to. That’s cool too.
Honestly, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets looks absolutely gorgeous, and if I have to deal with a human-dude equivalent to grumpy cat — so be it. We have a lot more detail about the film’s plot this time around, and the movie’s title actually kind of makes sense now. I’m on board for this thing at least.
